Description

Smallest flap disc (grit P80).

Works well for (carefully) removing finishing layers.

Flap discs are great for removing finish and light cleaning of materials because they sand more gently than sanding belts. They do not bite into the material as quickly. They also tend to get less hot due to the flaps – so they are less likely to leave heat marks on the material. Grind and polish flat or round surfaces. Most effective when used as a finishing aid after completing heavier sanding and material removal. Available in fine and coarse grit sizes

Flap wheels are most effective when the edge rests flat against the workpiece, providing the best sanding effect.
